Online Counseling User's Guide
The Online Counseling User's Guide provides instructions and information that answers some of the frequently asked questions about Online Counseling.
Servicer Information Sheet
This PDF answers some of the common questions borrowers have about student loan servicers and a chart that lists all of the current servicers and their contact information. Schools can download a copy of the PDF and provide to their student loan borrowers.
2015-2016 Verification Worksheets
Mapping Your Future provides two sets of verification worksheets and additional resources to assist schools with verification:
Comprehensive verification worksheets
Schools can use the comprehensive worksheet that matches the verification flag that appeared on the student's Institutional Student Information Record, if there aren't any exceptions.
There are a variety of exceptions depending on the Verification Tracking Flag the student received and the information the student provided on their FAFSA. Schools should only use the comprehensive worksheet if the student needs to verify all items included under the assigned verification tracking flag.
Individual verification item worksheets
Schools can use the individual worksheets to create their own verification packets that take into consideration the exceptions and collect only those items the student and or parent need to verify. Doing this enables schools to comply with the intent of the Department to remove any unnecessary burden on students and families.
Mapping Your Future provides free webinars on a variety of topics as a service to schools, Sponsors, educators, and community organizations.
